Trust is paramount in Latin dance. When we trust, we consent to the authority of others, and in traditional Latin dance that authority often lands on the shoulders of men. Should we change these norms, leaving room for fluidity in who gets to lead and who follows? These are just a few of the questions that we will discuss. And, of course, there will be dancing!
